Events & Announcements 

Wednesday Evening Activities Resuming
Next Wednesday, August 13, Wednesday evening activities will be resuming after a short summer break. The evening will begin with dinner at 5:15 PM. Reservations are required and can be made by going to the church website HERE. At 6 PM the youth will be meeting for Youth on Mission with Pastor Greg while the adults will meet at 6:15 PM for Prayer Meeting with Pastor Mark. Choir practice will be resuming on Wednesday, August 20 at 7 PM.
We're going on a road trip!
The Deacon Fellowship invites single seniors to join them as they witness the Driswald Family go on a hilarious "Road Trip" through the US! This exciting event is taking place on Saturday, August 16. RSVPs are required and must be made by August 12 by calling the church office. Please share this special event with family and friends.
Upcoming: LAAF
All those 50 and older are invited to this month's LAAF gathering on Tuesday, August 19 at 10 AM. This month's program is a special musical presentation from The Brothers Young. Those planning to come are asked to please bring a donation of children's or young adult books to benefit Book Net for this month's mission action project. Lunch will take place at Wildwood Smokehouse following the end of the program.
Make sure to send in your recipes!
There is still some time to send in recipes to help put together a new Melrose Baptist cookbook. Recipes of all types can be submitted by bringing in a paper copy to the church office or by giving a paper copy to Sheri Tickle. Recipes can be submitted digitally by emailing them to melrosecookbook@gmail.com. If you need help figuring out how to submit your recipes, please contact Sheri Tickle.
