Events & Announcements

Children's World Missions Fair
The local Women's Missionary Union is hosting a World Missions Fair for children in grades K-6th on Saturday, March 1 from 10 AM- 12 PM at Hollins Road Baptist Church. This interactive event will give children the chance to "travel" around the world with their own passports and learn about missionary efforts from around the world. There will also be food and games. Pastor Connie will be there with an interactive table about missionary work in Peru!

Save the Date: Church Missions Luncheon
We are inviting everyone to please join us for a luncheon after church on Sunday, March 2. This luncheon is a chance for all to learn more about Family Promise of the Roanoke Valley. Those in attendance will get a chance to ask questions about the work of Family Promise and how Melrose Baptist could play a role in their work.

SHINE 2025
The Women's Missionary Union of Virginia is inviting youth girls to join for SHINE 2025 at CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center from March 21-23. This weekend is a chance for teen girls to gather together for a time of Bible study, worship, and missions. There is a cost for the weekend depending on your lodging choice but the cost includes 2 nights of lodging, 4 meals, all program supplies, and a t-shirt.
