September Business Meeting Highlights
- Chris Daniels was approved to fill a vacated position on the Finance Committee.
- The 2026 Church Budget was presented. Discussion and vote will take place at the October business meeting.
- The cost of meals at the Wednesday Night Supper will increase to $9/person. The cost for a family of 4 will remain at $20.
- The following church members will serve as messengers at the RVBA Fall Meeting on October 28, 2025 at Melrose Baptist Church: Judy McCray, Karen Simmons, Mary Gilley, Luanne Meredith, Patsy James, Rev. Dr. Connis Cruze, Rev. Greg Hetherington, Pat Tickle, Dottie Overstreet
- Pastor Mark announced that a representative from Everbless will do a presentation on Estate Planning and Legacy Giving here at Melrose on October 22, 2025 right before Wednesday Night Supper. Plan to come and stay for dinner!
