Pick up your OCC boxes now!
If you would like to participate in Operation Christmas Child, now is the time to pick up your boxes. If you are unfamiliar with this ministry, learn more about them here and how to become involved. Empty boxes can be found in the hallway outside the Sanctuary and on the stage at the back of the Fellowship Hall. Packed boxes are due back to the church by Sunday, November 23.

CIA Wish List
Our Children in Action program is helping 14 local children that participate in TAP's Early Start program. They are asking for help in collecting needed items from their wish list's and need personal items.

There are two ways you can help our CIA kiddos with their project:
1) Take a tag from the bulletin board outside the Sanctuary and return the needed item by Sunday, November 30.
2) Purchase a gift card for Target, Wal-Mart, Ross, or Marshalls and place them in the donation box also located on the bulletin board outside the Sanctuary by Sunday, November 30.

Thanksgiving Food for Local Mission Centers
Melrose Baptist's WMU mission groups are collecting food to be distributed to Keystone Community Center and Friendship House Roanoke for their Thanksgiving food boxes. These boxes are distributed to families in need so that they may have full stomachs and hearts during this season. There are donation boxes located in the Fellowship Hall where donation items can be placed. The mission centers are also collecting funds to purchase perishable items such as eggs, milk, and meat. Donations can be given through the church or directly to Keystone Community Center or Friendship House Roanoke. Also, please remember that all items have to be in plastic jars, no glass! The last day to bring in donations is Thursday, November 13!

The Let's Dance Band of Roanoke, VA will be performing a wonderful night of music right here at Melrose Baptist Church! This concert will feature various selections of music from various genres and time periods. This concert is FREE but we are requiring tickets which can be found HERE
