Peru Prayer Calendar- Day 3

Sunday, July 13 
Today, we will attend worship at Monte Sion (Mount Zion) Baptist Church, and spend the afternoon at the Aldea Infantil, an orphanage in Cajamarca.  We will be doing stories, songs, and crafts with 3 yr olds to 13 year olds. Pray that we can help communicate that there are no orphans in God’s family and that they can feel their Heavenly Father’s love.
 
Scripture for Today:
"As EACH ONE has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of the many-sided grace of God." - I Peter 4:10  
 
Please pray thanking God for your opportunities to serve with your gift here as we use our gifts to go to share God’s love with children all over the Andes and the women of Cajamarca who will gather at Monte Sion Church.

Please pray that the altitude of 8,000+ feet above sea level does not adversely affect our team, especially the two middle-school grandchildren which are among our numbers.  We need your prayers as we will need to feel God’s ever-present care over us, strengthening us for each day’s tasks. Pray for open minds to receive God’s truth from those we encounter, as well as share our own faith journeys.
