Peru Prayer Calendar- Day 6

Wednesday, July 16
We’ll be up early to depart for our second school this morning.  Pray for the health of the children and their families.  We will leave water filters with the principals at each school so that they can later teach the parents how to use one of their own.  We may leave monies to buy filters or to assist with a special need we notice among the students.  Last year, there was a family whose house burned so we left monies to buy beds, a table, and clothing.
This evening we will visit a former orphan who was sponsored as a child at the Aldea (Sunday’s visit).  She is now married to a loving, Christian man, Ricki, and they have three beautiful daughters.  We will take food to their home (built with mud bricks by Ricki and his brother) and enjoy fellowship together.

I will be giving out the tzitzit (Hebrew prayer tassels) that Blair and the Creatives night friends made to this family too.

Verse for today:  "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer." - Psalm 19:15

Please pray that God will make His love known to them and pour His blessing out over them. May we all cling to the fringe of the robe of the God-With-Us Emmanuel.
