OUR MISSION

The Mission of Melrose Baptist Church is to share Christ's love as we serve others. We will fulfill our mission by the power of the Holy Spirit through worship, fellowship, discipleship, and missions.

OUR VISION

  • Adequate staff in place
  • Establish a working social media communications team
  • Strengthen our mission efforts by partnering with Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Baptist General Association of Virginia, and local organizations
  • Establish a long range planning committee to develop plans for future building projects which may include renovations to front office and hallway for a large welcome center leading into the sanctuary, increased parking in front with a covered portico, and a mission activities center
  • Increase efforts to reach young families and build community through multi-generational programs and activities

CORE VALUES

  • To provide Bible-based educational and worship opportunities and social activities for all ages.
  • To be a caring and loving support to members during times of difficulty, loss, and hardship.
  • To show the love of Christ through our commitment
to missions and outreach in our local community
    and beyond.
  • To be a welcoming grace-filled body that is Christ-centered and grounded in prayer.
