Adult Mission Projects
Coordinated by the Missions Trips Committee, volunteers work to remodel church buildings and structures.
A ministry program that focuses their outreach work in the Appalachain area of the U.S. Melrose partners with A.M.O.S each summer for a youth and adult mission trip.
Backpack Ministries
A weekly ministry that packs and distributes bags of food to local elementary schools.

Book net
A partnership with the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association. This group collects and distributes books to children in need through local and regional mission centers.
This special group of volunteers work with an adopted refugee family to help them acclimate to their new home. The group provides transportation, ESL lessons, and more to help the family make the Roanoke Valley their home.
Stitch & A Prayer
A group for all ages that meets once a month to work together to knit or crochet prayer shawls, lap robes, hats, and scarves for those in need.
Hands for Christ
A global effort in which past Sunday school literature is donated for distribution in foreign countries.

Funded by local Baptist congregations, Melrose helps this important Roanoke ministry program by donating time, food, clothing, supplies, money, and other needs.
We partner with the WMUV in various ways including multiple missionary groups that meet once a month, mission projects throughout the year, and various opportunities for women to grow in their faith.
Melrose supports this non-profit organization by collecting needed items periodically throughout the year and by supporting their refugee ministry to help those make Roanoke their new home.
