Thanksgiving Food Boxes 2024

One of our ministry partners, Keystone Community Center, packs and distributes Thanksgiving food boxes to give out to families that utilize their services. They are able to provide these meaningful boxes full of needed food and supplies through donations and support from the community.

This is a list of all the items that are packed into each box and are needed. The center is also in need of at least $800 to cover the cost of purchasing perishable items for the boxes such as eggs, milk, butter, bread, and meat. Donations can be dropped off at the center or you can bring donations to the church and place them in the donation box located behind the kitchen.

The deadline for donations is November 14 and boxes will be distributed to families on November 21.

Here are the items needed:
1 large box instant potatoes (26.2 oz)
1 small bottle cooking oil
1 can corn
1 can green beans
3 cans evaporated milk
1 box cereal
1 box pancake mix (just add water)
1 small bottle syrup
1 small bottle dishwashing liquid
2 boxes of Jello gelatin (not instant pudding)
1 box saltine crackers
1 small plastic jar peanut butter and jelly
1 box or bag of 1lb granulated sugar (not confection)
1 small 25 ft. box foil
4 cans soup
2 packs turkey or chicken gravy mix (no glass jars)
1 small bottle of clothes detergent
1 box instant hot chocolate
