OCC Collection Sunday
Youth parents- please note that we will have an altered schedule on Sunday, November 24. That Sunday we will be helping pack and transport all of the Operation Christmas Child boxes. We will pack up the boxes after worship and then eat lunch out together as a group. We will be taking them to Lakeside Baptist and return to Melrose for our normal youth time.

December Creatives Night
We are having a special Creatives Night on Sunday, December 1 starting at 5 PM and all children and youth are welcome to come and participate. Along with having a small Christmas party, everyone will work together to make fleece tie-blankets to then donate to one of our local ministry partners. No experience is necessary and there will be a job for all ages and ability levels!

Children's Christmas Worship Presentation
Parents of children- please make note that there will be a special practice on Saturday, December 7 at 10 AM in the Sanctuary. If your child is in the worship presentation, please make sure they are there so we can practice before worship on Sunday. If you will not able to make it, please let Pastors Greg or Connie know.

Youth Christmas Drama
The youth will be performing their Christmas drama during worship on Sunday, December 15. We will need all youth to arrive by 9 AM that morning. We will also have a dress rehearsal on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9 AM- 12 PM.

Come caroling with us!
Pastor Greg is inviting all children, youth, and their families to join him for a night of caroling on Sunday, December 15 starting at 5 PM. Everyone will travel together to perform at The Park at Oak Grove retirement community, Church of Hope at Pheasant Ridge, and to some residences of our members. Please arrive at the church at 5 PM so everyone can ride together on the church vans.

A youth lock-in is happening this year on Friday, December 27. Youth should come to the church at 7 PM that Friday and plan to stay until 7 AM Saturday morning. If you are willing to volunteer to help prepare dinner or breakfast, please let Pastor Greg know.
